HISTORY MATTERS
History Matters is a series of seminars presented by Oral History NSW and the Professional Historians Association (NSW & ACT) and generously hosted by the State Library of NSW.
Public history shapes our communities’ understandings of the past. This series (2019-2021) explores the issues that stimulate and bedevil the work of public historians. It aims to encourage a more reflective approach to the practice of history and create conversation.
In 2020 History Matters moved to an online format due to COVID-19. Where consent has been given, we have made the recordings available online here and on our YouTube channel, with thanks to the State Library of NSW.
